Spouses resolve their conflicts when they give precedence to good opinions [of each other] over suspicion, sow kind words in the soil of disagreement, and choose love over anger, and dialogue over stubbornness.
Indeed, when they do this:
- Loyalty will prevail over arrogance
- Finding excuses [for each other] will prevail over blame
- And forgiveness will prevail over reproach;
And the hearts will reunite, no matter the reason for their distance and separation.
يصلح الزوجان خلافاتهما حين يُقدّمان النية الطيبة على الظنون، ويزرعان الكلمة الطيبة في أرض الخلاف، ويقدمان الحبّ على الغضب، والحوار على العناد،
وهنا حقا ... سيغلب الوفاء على الكبرياء، والعذر على العتاب، والصفح على المؤاخذة، وستلتقي القلوب مهما كان سبب المباعدة.
