*Repentance in the Ten Days of Dhul-Hijjah*
Sheikh Mohammad bin Ghalib Al-Omari -hafidhahullah- said:
*The greatest affair a person takes care of [during these ten days] is to repent to Allah.*
Is repenting to Allah an act of worship or not? It is an act of worship. Hence, the greatest time to perform this act of worship is during these ten [days].
A person repents to his Lord and turns toward righteous deeds. He abandons evil actions, leaves off wrongdoing, gives up the pursuit of sins, and casts off the laziness that led him to neglect acts of worship and drawing nearer to Allah, the Glorified and Exalted, through various means.
