Al-Ihsan Trust – Dhul Ḥijjah 1446 Update Alḥamdulillāh, by the aid of Allāh, we were able to raise a total of ₦2,496,796.34/£1,185.98. Although our initial target was ₦3,000,000/£1,407, meant to feed people in the first 10 days of Dhul Ḥijjah and clothe believing women, the plans were adjusted due to the shortfall in funds and time constraints. Priority was given to feeding, and other initiatives were introduced. Alḥamdulillāh: • Over 500 people were fed during the first 9 days of Dhul Ḥijjah and on the 3rd day of Tashrīq. • A ram and 50 modu of rice were purchased & distributed on the day of ʿĪd to less privileged families and those not having the means to slaughter. • A total of 115 jilbābs were given to women in need, Orphans, Widows, and those who had none to wear for ʿĪd. While we intended to distribute no less than 200 jilbābs, this goal is still pending. If further funds are received before the end of Dhul Ḥijjah, we will continue and conclude with the jilbāb drive In- Shāʾ-Allāh. Otherwise, plans for 1447 AH will be announced.
