‎Even though many women know that threading, shaping, or plucking the eyebrows is clearly prohibited in Islam, they continue to do so knowingly disobeying Allah. The Prophet Mohmmad ﷺ cursed the women who pluck their eyebrows. We must ask ourselves, is a temporary standard of beauty worth the eternal displeasure of Allah? Will shaped eyebrows benefit us in our graves, or on the Day of Judgment? ‎Sadly, many fall into this sin due to social media trends, or wanting to please others forgetting that the only One we must truly strive to please is Allah ﷻ. Sisters, beauty fades, but the consequences of sins remain unless we repent sincerely. True beauty lies in obedience, modesty and the noor that comes from pleasing Allah. Let's remind one another lovingly and support each other in staying away from what displeases our Lord. If you've made this mistake before, repent sincerely. Allah is Al-Ghaffār, the Most Forgiving but knowingly continuing in sin is dangerous. Let's not trade our ākhirah for the approval of the dunya.
