The Future Is Beyond Oil, And Nigeria Must Not Be Left Behind. As the world rapidly transitions into a new frontier — technology, artificial intelligence, entertainment, digital enterprise — nations are reevaluating their economic anchors. Oil is no longer enough. During my recent appearance on national television, I emphasized this urgent truth: while world leaders are meeting to navigate the AI revolution, Nigeria must not just observe — we must evolve. Saudi Arabia the largest oil exporter, is enlarging towards AI. We need to begin thinking beyond oil, beyond infrastructure alone, and toward capacity development, innovation, digital skills, and global relevance.
