✅ Power Restored – Tortola✅ The B.V.I. Electricity Corporation (BVIEC) is pleased to inform customers that power has been fully restored to the areas previously affected on Tortola, including a portion of Road Town up to Kingstown, including Huntums Ghut and Lower Estate. The initial outage, which caused a transformer to trip in the Long Bush area, was related to the ongoing maintenance work being carried out on our substations. These essential upgrades began on Thursday, May 22 and are scheduled to continue through June 24, 2025. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve the reliability of the Territory’s electrical infrastructure.
