Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Muhammad Junaid Anwar visited NHQ & called on CNS Adm Naveed Ashraf. Discussions held on contemporary maritime issues & PN’s role in regional maritime security, IOR & prospects of maritime economy & its imp for economic growth of country. Briefing was given to Minister regarding Pak’s maritime interests, challenges, opportunities & steps taken by PN in coord with MoMA. Dignitary was apprised of preps regarding upcoming 2nd edition of PIMEC & it's role in maritime awareness & development of Blue Economy.
