“O my master, O Sahib al-Zaman (Master of the Time), may God’s blessings be upon you and upon your family. This is Friday, and it is the day anticipated for your appearance.” [Dua of the Day of Friday] Abu Abd Allah (peace be upon him) said: ‘The closest the servants are to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, and the most pleased He is with them, is when they lose sight of the Hujjah of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic—when he does not appear to them and they do not know his whereabouts—yet they still know that the Hujjah and clear signs of Allah have not been nullified. At that time, anticipate relief (al-faraj) morning and evening.’ [Kamal Deen] From Imam Mahdi (prayers of Allah be upon him) is letter to Sheikh Mufeed: “So let each one of you act in a way that brings him closer to our love, and avoid what brings him near to our dislike and anger. For our matter (Advent) comes suddenly and unexpectedly, at a time when repentance will no longer benefit, nor will regret for a sin save from our punishment.”
