In the east of Ukraine, young men aged 18 to 24 are undergoing basic military training to join the 28th Separate Mechanised Brigade, preparing to defend the Donetsk region amid intense fighting. Against a backdrop of stormy skies and blossoming fields, they push through grueling courses designed to test not only their physical strength but their mental resilience. As armoured vehicles fire nearby during the obstacle course, they rise up singing the Ukrainian anthem.
