*Corporate Cafeterias Embrace Healthier Menus Amid Rise in Lifestyle Diseases* A health-conscious shift is taking place in corporate cafeterias across India, driven by increasing lifestyle-related illnesses. Major companies like Capgemini, Hindustan Unilever, Larsen & Toubro, Accenture, Razorpay, and Myntra are revamping their food offerings. Menus now feature protein-rich, diabetic-friendly, low-GI, vegan, and gluten-free options, as well as meals low in oil, salt, and sugar. Food service providers like Compass Group and Rassense are seeing a surge in demand for such health-centric meals. Chef Aryjo Banerjee of Compass Group noted that over 40% of their clients now request healthier menu options, believing it boosts productivity, energy, and reduces absenteeism. The new offerings include millet and brown rice-based dishes, fermented items like kombucha and raita, and functional foods such as lemon-infused buttermilk and sprout-based wellness bowls.
