*India to Build Rafale Jet Parts – Tata & Dassault Join Hands*
• Tata Advanced Systems (TASL) will start making important parts (called fuselages) of the Rafale fighter jets in Hyderabad.
• This is the first time outside France that these parts will be made.
• The fuselages will be made for both India and global orders.
• The factory will deliver the first fuselages by FY28 (Financial Year 2028).
• Tata plans to make 24 fuselages every year.
• 100 fuselages will be made at first, and more than 200 may be made if India places extra orders.
• 60% of Rafale’s production may eventually shift to India.
