Inaugurated and addressed the annual commemoration of the passing of the founder of Santhigiri Ashram, Navajyothisree Karunakara Guru. The special occasion is known as Nava Oli Jyothirdinam, or the "auspicious day of the new light of wisdom". It is observed annually on May 6th, the day he attained Samadhi. I paid homage at the parnassala in Santhigiri and spoke to the audience of his invaluable teachings.
