In April, our #ameos detected 32 offences and impounded 14 non-compliant Active Mobility (AM) devices during various enforcement operations around Singapore.
We’ve observed an increase in offences involving obscured, improper, or false number plates on Power-Assisted Bicycles (PAB) from 2023 to 2024.
Working with the National Delivery Champions Association, we recently apprehended a rider with an obscured PAB number plate.
In a separate operation, we also caught two others using false number plates.
⚠️#reminder First-time offenders caught using false number plates may face fines of up to $5,000 and/or 12 months’ imprisonment.
Some riders have reported possible fraudulent use of their PAB plate numbers. If you suspect misuse of your PAB plate number, do:
