Discipleship is not only about teaching but also about birthing, nurturing, and grooming of a generation. It is about reproducing the DNA of righteousness in those who will represent God better than you tomorrow. Many ministries are suffering from a lack of quality leadership because they didn't see poor followership patterns as a problem before it escalated to leadership failure. Again, many young men in ministry today are drunk with empty titles and ego madness. They are not willing to take instructions because they are in a hurry to give orders and get venerated. Some of them are little deities in their little spaces of ministries. Many ministers want to satisfy their carnal appetites by gluttony at the expense of the destinies around them. Whatever you do today will form the standard of your ministry, marriage or business tomorrow. Are you a preacher who has never been discipled? Are you a businessman or woman who is not prudent in resource management? Are you a reckless spendthrift? When your character doesn't align with God's word, you can only raise dysfunctional followers like yourself at best. A campus fellowship without discipline will lack discipleship. A church of hypocrites will produce a gang of the lawless and the miscreants. A country is considered a failed state when the teeming youth are never engaged or developed to add values to their own future! If you're not ready to be thoroughly discipled, you must be ready to be diminished by demonic influences. Whatever you're doing as a leader, secret or open, is a precursor to determine the direction of your followers. If you live in immorality, you will never prosper in the ministry of holiness. Immorality will be your identity however smart you may appear. Discipleship is the last move of God in this generation! If it is left unattended, tomorrow is not a guarantee for any nation or church. Satan is busy evangelising and discipling in society because the church is dangerously on holiday. Don't forget that David's error became a pattern in his family. Jesus' model is discipline, integrity, self-control, consistency, prayerfulness, and godly values! Without them, tomorrow is not a guarantee for you!
