So many people have openly defended the vulnerabilities and defiant lifestyle of today's generation and how we have to reach them with the kind of gospel that could pamper them rather than scold them. The claim is that they're usually bombarded by the pressure of the new media and the pollution from the agents of hell. Unfortunately, these arguments have no biblical basis because God's standard has not changed. Nadab and Abihu were never pampered for the strange fire they offered on God's altar. Absalom was not spared for his act of felony. New Testament, too, have a record of how God dealt with those who turned their back on the purity of God and His righteousness. You can go on to pamper your own congregation to the peril of the youth. God's holiness can not be faked. God found unfeigned faith in Timothy. He found purity in Joseph. He found creativity and innovation in Bezaleel. The duo of Bezaleel and Aholiab weren't mentioned to have been paid for designing the tabernacle as many youths today monetise sanctuary services in order to build wealth. Reuben was lawless. Judas was fraudulent. Sardis, Laodecia, Thyatira, Pergamos, and Ephesus churches were never spared for their acts of compromise. In God's Word, black is black. In today's church, black is simply a shade of white! This is shameful. God didn't bend His standard in the days of Gehazi. He is unlikely to bend His rule today. God is looking for an untainted youth, not an untamed fool who is ready to break the kingdom rule to attract disciples without discipline. Without kingdom virtue, there's no sustainable kingdom value. It is time to redirect the youth before the likes of Solomon and his Rehoboam son will be multiplied in the future of the church.
