Most teens today are awkward and rude in relating to people. A lot of them are rudderless, lawless, and lack simple courtesy. If you attempt to correct them in public, they'll insult you without blinking the eye. You could sometimes wonder if they were raised with any native intelligence by their absentee dads and party freaked mums. Most of these children and teens have been left in the hands of caregivers. They lost touch with adequate parental roles and realities. Most of them have been terribly lonely in the crowd. Dysfunctional marriages have led to dysfunctional behaviours in the youth. As a teacher of about three decades, I have listened to teens whose conduct never reflected a feel of any trace of decorum, dignity, and discipline. Parenting is a full-time job, and it can not be treated as a side hustle. I have met babies, parenting babies. It's not really about age but about lack of quality impact. Some ladies are pretenders. Their children don't know who they are. They're reckless and bankrupt, yet they want their children to be the best of angels. This generation needs help in the community, schools, and church. Have you wondered why clubs are on the rise? Don't wait for the schools or government to rescue them. You may have to wait in vain. Gird your loins like Abraham and train up your children the art of godliness before they'll blame you for your failure. Parenting isn't a joke! It's a real task!
