Fire has been used to cook, roast, or as warming agents in homes. All these certainly are expected to bring about visible transformation. The Holy Spirit has been sent to us as a refining agent to purge and prune us of all forms of inglorious character patterns. But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness. (Malachi 3:2-3). The Lord Himself is both the soap and the fire who is ready to purify anyone who is willing to let Him do it. You have a choice to either continue to struggle with your life of compromise and negative culture as a believer and face a hopeless eternity at the end of time or get purified by Jesus to appear blameless before the great white throne of God.
