When former CNN host Jim Acosta told Democratic Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett on Wednesday that he was concerned that President Donald Trump’s administration might arrest her, she agreed his concerns were well-founded. Democratic Newark Mayor Ras Baraka was arrested on May 9 outside of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in his city, with Democratic New Jersey Rep. LaMonica McIver facing charges for allegedly assaulting law enforcement officers there the same day. Acosta, on “The Jim Acosta Show,” discussed the incident and suggested that Crockett could face a similar threat.
