Former White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is leaving the Democratic Party and writing that its betrayal led to former President Joe Biden dropping out of the 2024 election, according to a statement from Legacy Lit, who is publishing her upcoming book. Jean-Pierre announced her new book “Independent: A Look Inside a Broken White House, Outside the Party Lines” set to publish in October 2025 on Wednesday.
