ALL IN ONE DAY Episode one. I knew that I was going to fall in love again after many years of heartbreak and singleness. I mean, I knew that the sun would certainly rise again, and the moon was definitely going to be my best friend. Yes, I was aware of that, Indeed, I was aware that I was going to sit in the arms of a beautiful woman and smile so assertively, However, I had no idea that it was going to be in the arms of a çãll girl, or can I say Ashawo?, Yea, because I picked my wife from a brøthël where women were seen selling their bødiês for mønëy and instant gratification. I mean, Where lot of men were seen smøking Indiå!ñ hêmp, cçigarette, and drinking mãnpôwër, And where çrimiñãls were hiding after coming back from their operation. Yea, The place was too fïlthy for my liking, nevertheless, that was where I found love, and that's where I met my wife and the mother of my children. In all honesty, we can find true love anywhere and anytime.. For Many years ago, I had a lot of romance with so many different women , Some were fluent in English speaking, and inline with their flawless catwalk, While some were extremely religious, had a good sense of dressing, and always acted as they're second jesus. And that was the most reason why i find it challenging to call Yene and discussed with her during her travelling. Perhaps, I might have find out if truly she had travelled or not, if I had given her a call. However, we spoke only when I arrived home, and she lied to me that she had successfully reached her sister place, which I was unaware, that she had taken a different route. Though, I never bothered to talk to the sister, because I believed everything she had told me, And the only thing I did was to tell her to greet the sister for me which she promised to, and that was the end for the day. After the call, I collapsed on my bed and slept till the next day which was on Friday, the weekend, which came with a breath of relief, since I don't normally goes to work on fridays. I mean, I woke up with the gentle rays of the morning sun, and the feeling of excitement as I went to the kitchen and prepared a hot tea and fried egg, Ohh, can I add bread and butter? I contemplated, and subsequently went and brought it to my table, But the butter was not giving, as i silently kept it down and went along with only egg and tea.. Anyways, After a relaxed breakfast, I picked up my most beloved book, "THE PAIN OF A WOMAN" Written by #vic and made my way down to my room and read till I slept off. In all honesty, The weekend had been exactly what I needed, a chance to relax, recharge, and reconnect with myself. Yea, i really enjoyed my weekend without knowing that someone was on tøp of my wōmãn.. _____________________________ Anyways, Yene side of the story begins.. That monday morning after I sent the money to yene, she was seen at the side of the road hooped into the bolt she had booked, And on the flip side, the driver was seen asking her again to be sure of where they're heading to, Where precisely are we going, Madam? She asked her caller, Room 45, the caller replied Haha, that room again ?She enquired, "Abeg, I don't like that room oo," She said contorting her face as she walked inside the hotel and stood at the reception desk with her heart pounding with a mix of anger and disappointment. Apparently, it seems she doesn't feel secure in that room, so perhaps, as she waited, she was attempting to find out how the room can be changed or so, However, as it wasn't possible, she reluctantly got the room key from the receptionist who was smiling althrough, Here is the key ma, she said while yene collected the key and walked down the room unhappily. Anyways, Inside the reception room, a portrait of an antique image carved by an excellent sculptor were seen hanging on the world. Additionally, a dusty portrait of a severe looking woman with piercing eyes and a nose was seen hanging at the extremity. And there were also countless additional image hanging all over there that I'm not sure how to explain. Finally, three different wall clock of three different countries were all hung on the wall, Then, yene walked pass those images to a corridor, then to her room and waited for who only she knows about.. ______________ Pom pom pom, a black tinted vehicle drove and parked at the entrance of the hotel while honking, And it wasn't taking much time, a gateman was seen trying to open the gate for the vehicle to come in. And immediately he opened the gate, the vehicle drove in and parked at the garage, After waiting for some minutes without anyone coming down,. Go in and look around the reception area to see whether there are known faces, A man who was inside the car said to the driver, Then the driver got out of the car and looked around. "Then, a man who was dressed in a traditional Hausa attire with a briefcase in his hand, came out of the car and walked down the hotel." I mean, he walked down the room he had already booked and it wasn't long, some sound were abruptly heard outside, I suppose, that's why Yene didn't like that room. He misses the sensation of the sun on his face, and the aroma of his children's food because his wife passed away a long time ago, I mean, He saw his children wailing in the hospital room instead of giggling, and tears abruptly fell down his cheek, as he yearned to return home. At least to have his family warmth around him and to see his children being cheerful, however, there wasn't enough money to get him heal, And according to the Doctor, It's a dëadly illness that would resolve to dëath if nothing is done swiftly, And That proclamation alone from the doctor, made Bako to be extremely fearful, I mean, His dreams instantly filled with jumbled pictures of his life as he slipped in and out of sleep. When Precious noticed her father in such a poor health in the hospital bed, she scowled and vowed to do whatever it would take to get her father heal, She called her aunts and uncle, but none of them could assist her because everyone was lamenting the nation's poor economic situation. She remembered how her mother had died due to the same situation where no one was assisting them, and vowed to do anything this time. She therefore took her phone and called Cynthia her coursemate who was a runs girl, Cynthia, my father dey hospital, she said soon as she picked the call, Abeg, help me with 100k, make I deposit for him treatment, Abeg, I go return am soon, she pleaded Cynthia who was laughing at her, You wan borrow me money? And as they waited till 7 o'clock at night without Mr Mark coming out, Maria was very upset inside the car and intended to break into their room, but she wasn't told about the room number, and it would be a great embarrassment if at the end, it wasn't the husband. The friend adviced. Then as the saying goes,that ninety nine days is for the thieve, and one day for the owner, maria and her friend hooped into the vehicle and wanted to leave the hotel for the following day, Simultaneously, Mr. Mark, who had never left the room before when entering, that evening, decided to go to the bar and enjoy a chilled wine and the background music that was playing at the bar, Then, all of a sudden, those two women who were keeping an eye on them and were presumably exhausted, saw this two Cheaters approaching the bar, Then, without any delay, they gave Maria a quick signal as she quickly exited the car and ran to the bar.. However, upon that, precious was seen running out from the house after one agboro wanted to have sêx with her. Before Mr Mark and the hotel management could contact the security personnel, yene was already rushed to the hospital, which the information eventually got to me the following morning and pierced my heart like a sharp kn!fe. No, I don't believe, I said, while I picked my phone and called Yene when I heard the awful news, but she wasn't picking, Haa, could this be true? I pondered as I decided to go to the hospital and see things myself, And when I got there, Yene, my girlfriend was seriously receiving treatment in the hospital, I mean, her body was unrecognized to me, What happened, was my question, as she kept shedding tears like a crocodile. I almost k!lled myself, and instantly developed hatred for her because it wasn't what u expected from her. Her touch that was once a source of comfort to me, then felt like a violation, and war. I mean, The betrayal was so profound, so unexpected, that hit me so hard. Then, Since The pain was too unbearable for me, I walked out of the hospital, because I needed time, space, to process the anger, and the confusion. _____________________ Then, When I got home, My friend Sambo, who was already aware of the situation, picked me up to a joint so that I won't die of depression , Until when we arrived there, I didn't realize it was a brothel, And that was where I met precious, my wife who was crying all alone in one corner,, and after I asked her some questions, I discovered that her true purpose for coming there was not what she had intended to do. After that, I hurried to the hospital to pay her father's medical bill. And she was really happy, while the father blessed me. A little while later, I proposed to her, and she accepted, and were got married which she gave birth to two gorgeous boys, Emma, and Sammy, and also gave me a peace of mind. I then realized, that certain things happen for a reason, And we are too far away from this thought, that's why we keep crying for a spoiled milk. The end..... I think in the aspects of precious, sometimes, we should be listening to other people side of the story, to know The real motivation behind their actions, rather than concluding.
