This Proverb from which today’s Dose was concocted is serving as a testament that many things we see today have been so for ages. How lamentably it is that there be many folks who find joy in folly and takes pride in shameful things. Scripture here describes them as lacking sense. As for the man with much understanding and prudence, he is upright in his ways and goes on the way of discretion. Not to worry too hard about the prompt or applicability of this message; it’s a call to refrain from glorifying that which is ignoble and embracing such as is commendable and worthy of good report.
