Happy Pentecost Sunday. As we commemorate the arrival of the HolySpirit (Whom Christ promised to send to us at His departure) today, it is expedient that we understand His role in our life and journey of wisdom. Remember what Christ said of Him in John 16:13 (kjv) “when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:” The idea of guiding into all truth is actually what wisdom entails. He is the Spirit of wisdom that makes men wise regardless of age, experience or status. Little wonder the wise man Elihu asserted that wisdom doesn’t lodge statutorily in the aged but that there’s that Spirit that possesses a man and make him Wise. (Job 32:7-9) As we commemorate the arrival of the fullness of that Spirit and His availability to all men (as many as receives Him), contend earnestly for Him. Scoop as much of Him as is available (which is actually limitless) and enter into realms of unsearchable insight, knowledge, understanding and wisdom that transcends mortal realities.
