The bride boldly declares a mutual possession “My beloved is mine, and I am his.” This speaks to the depth of covenant love where two lives are intertwined in full surrender and delight. Spiritually, it points us to the relationship between Christ and His Church. We belong to Him not by force, but by love. And in the same breath, He is ours not as a possession to control, but as a presence to cherish. Jesus is the Shepherd who grazes among the lilies gentle, attentive, and ever near. When we truly understand that we are His and He is ours, fear vanishes, insecurity fades, and joy is made full. *PRAYER* Thank You that I belong to You and that You belong to me. Help me to walk in the confidence of Your love and to live each day aware of Your nearness. Let my heart be fully Yours, and may I find peace in knowing that You care for me with gentleness and grace. Teach me to rest in Your presence, and to rejoice in our relationship always.
