Date: *Wednesday, May 28, 2025* *Time With JOJOthePREACHER* Theme: *A HEART FOR THE POOR* Text: *Galatians 2:10 (ESV)* Only, they asked us to remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do. *EXPOSITION* Even in the midst of great theological discussions and apostolic assignments, the early church leaders did not lose sight of a vital kingdom priority: care for the poor. Paul confirms that he was already eager to fulfill this request. This reveals that compassion and generosity are not optional in Christian ministry; they are central. Ministry is not only about preaching and teaching—it is also about reflecting Christ’s love through tangible acts of kindness. Remembering the poor is not merely about charity; it’s about embodying the justice, mercy, and generosity of the gospel. As believers, we must ask ourselves: Are we mindful of the needs around us? Do our actions reflect the compassion of Christ to the marginalized? *PRAYER* Lord Jesus, thank You for showing compassion to the poor and needy. Stir my heart to care for those who lack, and make me sensitive to the needs of others. Help me to live generously, joyfully sharing with those in need as an expression of Your love.
