The MISA Harare Chairperson Mlondolozi Ndlovu has called for public debate and advocacy around the funds to be collected by ZBC under the Broadcasting Services Amendment Act. He argues the revenue should be shared with other media houses to ensure industry wide sustainability. The ZBC News Online is projected to earn an estimated US$30 million from car radio licences.
