*Three ways NOT to end your copy* 1) Writing a “conclusion”. This isn’t an academic essay! 2) Repeating what you have said already. 3) Just stopping writing abruptly. You need to signal to your reader that this is the end. One way to do this is to link back to the beginning of the feature. Another good way to end is on a strong quote. Listen out for these when you are interviewing - if you know how you are going to finish before you start, it can really help you structure the article. Judy Yorke Senior Tutor
