An emotional morning unfolded in Jertih as the convoy transporting the remains of 13 UPSI students arrived at Hadhari Mosque from Ipoh at 2.55am. Over 3,000 people gathered for funeral prayers, led by Dr Muhammad Khalil Abdul Hadi, while families and locals quietly awaited the students’ final journey. Members of the public assembled from midnight to pay their final respects. All 13 were buried in their respective hometowns, with earlier burials held for Muhammad Adib Hazim Halim and Wan Nur Suhaila Wan Muhammad in Besut. 📷: Malaymail.
