It’s okay to miss something sometimes—whether it's a moment, an opportunity, or even a version of yourself from the past. Life moves fast, and it’s impossible to catch everything. Missing out doesn’t mean you’ve failed; it means you’re human. Sometimes, missing something gives us the space to reflect, to recognize what truly matters, and to realign with what we need now. There’s a quiet wisdom in allowing yourself to feel that longing without rushing to fix it.
We often pressure ourselves to be constantly present, productive, and connected, but real growth happens in the in-between moments—when we pause, grieve what’s gone, and make peace with what we couldn't hold onto. Missing something is a sign that it meant something to you, and that's a beautiful reminder of your capacity to care deeply. Let that be enough. You don’t always have to chase the next thing; sometimes, simply acknowledging what’s been lost is the first step toward healing.
