An 11-year-old female juvenile, was subjected to a profound betrayal of trust by an individual known to her and her family. The incident occurred on the 26th of April, 2025, in Mazowe. The offender, who was a friend of the victim's mother, lured her by falsely claiming she was sent by the mother to "conduct a virginity test." The offender committed the offence by inserting her fingers into her own private parts and then inserting those same fingers into the complainant's private parts. The victim's ordeal was interrupted when the survivors mother unexpectedly walked in, and caught the offender in the act. When confronted, the offender claimed that she was conducting a " virginity test "The victim's mother immediately reported the incident to the police, leading to the offender's arrest.
