PaveWay Africa Limited, on behalf of its client, is seeking to hire a results-driven and operationally focused Courier Manager to lead and optimize courier and last-mile delivery services within the Group’s logistics and transportation unit. Position: Courier Manager Location: Morogoro, Tanzania Industry: Logistics / Transportation / Delivery Services 📌 Role Summary The Courier Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the courier and delivery service department. This includes fleet and personnel management, service planning, route optimization, customer service coordination, and ensuring timely and secure delivery of parcels and packages. 📌 Key Responsibilities -Plan, coordinate, and supervise all courier operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery services. -Manage courier staff (drivers, dispatchers, sorters) and monitor daily performance. -Develop and implement routing and scheduling systems to improve delivery efficiency. -Ensure the safety, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of the delivery fleet. -Track parcels and ensure accurate documentation and reporting. -Address customer inquiries and complaints related to courier services in a timely manner. -Analyze logistics data and KPIs to improve service delivery and reduce operational costs. -Collaborate with internal teams (sales, IT, customer service) to enhance the delivery experience. -Implement security protocols to ensure safe handling and transportation of goods. -Maintain partnerships with external logistics vendors or agents where necessary. 📌 Qualifications and Experience -Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. -Minimum of 5 years’ experience in courier, logistics, or transportation management. -Proven experience managing a fleet and coordinating delivery or dispatch operations. -Proficiency in logistics software, tracking systems, and Microsoft Office. -Strong knowledge of local geography and transportation laws in Tanzania. 📌 Key Competencies -Strong leadership and team management skills. -Operational and strategic thinking with attention to detail. -Good communication and conflict resolution skills. -Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. -Customer-focused mindset with commitment to service excellence. 📌 Interested candidates should submit their CV outlining their interest in the position and relevant qualifications to the application email: [email protected] #pavewayafricatanzania #jobstanzania #apply #ajiratanzania #dar #newpost #newjob #tanzania #mpya #job #joinus #new #jobad
