PaveWay Africa Limited, on behalf of its client, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to join the team and lead the HR function across its diverse portfolio of businesses.
Position: Human Resources Manager
Location: Morogoro, Tanzania
Industry: Conglomerate (Transportation, Trading, Construction, Petroleum, Media, Real Estate, Tourism)
📌 Role Summary
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the Group’s business objectives. This role will oversee the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, training and development, and compliance across the Group’s subsidiaries.
📌 Key Responsibilities
-Develop and implement HR strategies that support the group’s long-term objectives.
-Lead talent acquisition efforts and manage end-to-end recruitment processes.
-Oversee onboarding, orientation, and retention strategies.
-Design and implement performance management systems and employee development programs.
-Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and internal policies.
-Manage HR budgets and ensure cost-effective HR operations.
-Build a strong company culture that promotes employee engagement and productivity.
-Provide guidance and support to departmental managers on HR issues and best practices.
-Maintain up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
-Handle conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures professionally.
-Lead HR audits, risk assessments, and contribute to strategic business planning.
📌 Qualifications and Experience
-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A
-Minimum of 5 years’ progressive HR experience
-Experience working in a diversified group of companies or large organization is preferred.
-Strong knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws and HR best practices.
-Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
-Proven experience in organizational development and change management.
