Ingredients:
8-10 sheets Rice Paper
White sesame seeds to coat
Filling:
Oil - 1 Tbsp
Mushroom - 1 Cup
Green Onion Whites - 2 Stalks
Carrot - 1 no
Cabbage - 1/2 Cup
Garlic - 3 Cloves
Ginger - 1/4th Inch
Green Chillies - 2 no
Salt & White Pepper - Pinch
Sugar - Pinch
2 small potatoes - boiled
2 tbsps Soy Sauce
1 tbsp vinegar
2 tbsps Schezwan sauce
5 tbsps Cheese - grated
Process:
- Start by sautéing the mushrooms on high heat, add the cabbage, carrot and saute
- Add in the green onion whites, green chillies, garlic, ginger and cook for a few minutes
- Add the mashed potato
- Season with salt and white pepper and mix well
- Add the soy sauce, vinegar and schezwan sauce and mix well
- Take the mixture out on a plate and cool it down - mix the cheese into it
- Dip 2 sheets of rice paper in water until they soften
- Place the filling in the middle and form it into a log
- Fold the rice paper from both sides to form the log
- Roll the rice paper in sesame seeds
- Freeze the rolls for 15-20 minutes and then cut 4 pieces out of each log
- Pan fry on all sides until golden brown and crispy
- Serve with a dipping sauce and enjoy!
