This is how we deepen our understanding—through respectful dialogue that honours both reason and spirit. The commandments shared were passed down by Mbuya Nehanda to her surviving nephew. While some may ask for documented “V11” proof, the more meaningful test lies elsewhere: do these teachings serve only individual interests, or do they uplift Dzimbabwe as a whole? If these values speak of unity, healing, respect, and ancestral honour—if they carry no selfish agenda—then we must consider them with the reverence they deserve. Our ways, Ubuntu/ Chivanhu, are built on both knowledge and character (tsika nehunhu), and in our culture, spiritual truths are not always captured on paper but are held and passed on by Masvikiro, Mhondoro, and our living elders. Let us not forget—those who lived through Chimurenga, who heard the voices of the land and bore the weight of the struggle, are still among us. This is our urgent window to preserve what they know before it is lost forever. If we cannot trace these teachings through colonial records, let us turn to the wisdom of our ancestral spiritual custodians, who have always guided us long before written archives existed. It is also worth asking: Do these commandments build Dzimbabwe or divide it? Do they encourage harmony or chaos? Do they awaken our cultural memory or serve only to entertain doubt? From what we have seen, no individual stands to gain from this. There is no claim to power or profit. Only a call to remember who we are, to walk again with purpose, and to restore the values that once held our communities together. Yes, the era of the BSAC was one of suppression and loss, but we cannot dismiss everything rooted in our spiritual inheritance simply because we are now trained to ask for paperwork and citations. Our ancestors spoke through spirit, vision, and purpose. That remains a valid and sacred source of knowledge. Let us listen with both our hearts and minds. For Dzimbabwe. For our children and the generations to come. *Replied By - Tigere Mubayiwa* *Contact Information:* Email - *[email protected]* *NB: LET US RETELL OUR NARRATIVES.
