*Office Of the Joint Director North Kashmir SED* A series of successful meetings regarding the Rationalization of Staff were conducted across the three districts of North Kashmir viz Kupwara (10-06-2025), Bandipora (11-06-2025) and Baramulla (12-06-2025). These meetings focused on key issues including: 1. Ensuring no school is left with a single teacher. 2. Eliminating surplus staff from any school. 3. Presence of female teachers in schools with enrolled girl students(Where possible). 4. Placement of subject specific teachers in Higher Secondary Schools. 5. Addressing the challenges of schools with low enrollment. The meetings witnessed active participation from Chief Education Officers (CEOs), Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) and Cluster Heads, who demonstrated commendable decision-making and commitment. While initial gaps in coordination between some ZEOs and Cluster Heads were observed, they were promptly addressed, resulting in effective on-spot resolutions. The collective efforts and proactive approach of the officers contributed to the overall success of the meetings in all three districts. The dedication of CEOs, ZEOs, and Cluster Heads is highly appreciated. Regards
