*Work to re-assess city’s conservation areas continues* We successfully bid for skills funding from the UK Government and Historic England to review our conservation areas. This began in January 2025. As part of phase one, the first two conservation area sites in the city centre and Kelham Island are being reviewed. Several areas are being looked at.
