Blesseds Carlo Acutis and Piergiorgio Frassati will be canonized together in Rome on September 7, 2025. This morning, Pope Leo XIV presided over the Ordinary Public Consistory for the Canonization of the Blesseds, announcing that these Italian young men will be inscribed in the Register of Saints on the first Sunday of the month. The Office for the Liturgical Celebrations of the Supreme Pontiff also shared that Blesseds Ignatius Choukrallah Maloyan, Peter To Rot, Vincenza Maria Poloni, María del Monte Carmelo Rendiles Martínez, Maria Troncatti, José Gregorio Hernández Cisneros, and Bartolo Longo will be canonized on October 19, 2025.
