For his misdeeds, Dennis Mussoline (37) of Kwekwe was slapped with a 12 months’ imprisonment sentence when he appeared at Kwekwe Magistrates Court recently. Four months of his sentence were conditionally suspended for five years while a further eight months were set aside on condition he performs 280 hours of community service. Court heard that on an unknown date between November last year and May this year, Mussoline, who was employed as a security guard, stole the complainant’s hardware, which he transported to his rural home. Acting on a tip off, the hardware owner reported the matter to police prompting investigations that led to the recovery of goods worth US$1,015 at offender’s homestead.
