In February, a team from SKH travelled to Jordan on a humanitarian mission, providing medical care to 2,000 refugees across three remote camps over five days. The team comprised Dr Mohamed Fahamy Koenitz, Resident Physician; Ahmad Khairil, Senior Nurse Manager; and Hafiz Tahir, Staff Nurse, from the Department of Emergency Medicine, along with Siti Nasriah Yusri, Nurse Educator from Nursing Education and Development. They witnessed first-hand the harsh conditions faced by the refugee community, including limited access to clean water, essential medication and regular healthcare. ❤️ “Medical missions like these play a vital role in reaching vulnerable communities,” shared Dr Fahamy.
