Change is coming to the way councils work across the country, and we are taking the opportunity to make sure it’s done in a way that truly benefits our communities. Our proposal is to solve the government’s request by creating two brand new unitary councils that cover Oxfordshire and West Berkshire: ▪️ Ridgeway Council – covering South Oxfordshire, Vale of White Horse, and West Berkshire ▪️ Oxford and Shires Council – covering Cherwell, Oxford City, and West Oxfordshire We want to hear what you think so that residents and businesses stay at the heart of these new councils.
