استجابةً لمقترحات سكّان منطقة الورقاء، وتعزيزاً لانسيابية الحركة المرورية المحيطة بالمنطقة، تفتتح #هيئة_الطرق_و_المواصلات في #دبي مدخلاً ومخرجاً جديدين لمنطقة الورقاء، مباشرة من شارع الشيخ محمد بن زايد الأسبوع القادم (مطلع يونيو)، لتسهيل عملية الدخول والخروج من وإلى المنطقة. ضمن مشروع يسهم عند اكتماله في زيادة الطاقة الاستيعابية بمقدار 5000 مركبة في الساعة، وخفض زمن الرحلة بنسبة 80%، من 20 دقيقة إلى 3.5 دقائق، وتقليل المسافة المقطوعة للرحلات من 5.7 كيلومترات إلى 1.5 كيلومتراً. In response to suggestions from Al Warqa residents and to improve traffic flow in and out of the area, #rta is set to open a new entry and exit point to Al Warqa directly from Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road early next week (start of June), aiming to facilitate smoother access to and from the neighbourhood. Once complete, the project will increase road capacity by 5,000 vehicles per hour, reduce travel time by 80%, from 20 minutes to just 3.5 minutes, and cut trip distances from 5.7 km to 1.5 km.
