MOBILE RESPONSE TEAM (MRT) CREW MEMBERS (184) Reporting to Crew Commander, Response Services Job Purpose The position is to ensure safety and security of our clients, visitors and assets in a professional and courteous manner. The job offers an opportunity to enjoy regular and diverse interactions with the public, while also being expected to maintain the highest degree of professionalism and customer service. Key responsibilities • Responding to alarms, emergency responses, distress calls as directed by the Control Room. • Conducting preventive surveillance rounds according to established procedures. • Access control, security escorts, service call response and report writing. • Assist in the event of an emergency, first aid or any other intervention. • Detect, challenge and displace unwanted people. • Evacuate buildings/facilities in case of emergency. • Obeying and executing operational commands and instruction from Crew Commanders and superior officers. • Performing and/or practising drills to sharpen response and reaction skills. • Operating two-way radio communication. • Providing statements and reports when required. • Carrying out detention and removal of suspects and referring them to the police. • Observe GardaWorld Use of Force Policy. Competencies • Must be physical fit • Attention to detail • Must be of integrity and sober habits • Must be a team player • Mature, energetic and able to work with others without challenges • Able to communicate effectively and clearly both in writing and spoken English • Occupational First aid skills and training • Fire-fighting skills Qualification and Experience • At least 2 years of progressive work experience in a similar work setting • Knowledge of communication using all two-way radio codes • Must have undergone basic guard security training • No criminal record Gardaworld is an equal opportunity employer.
