DRIVERS (70) Reporting to Fleet Manager/Coordinator/Operations Manager Job Summary Driving and ensure proper care of the Company or client’s motor vehicles Key Responsibilities • To ensure that the vehicle movement log book is properly and accurately logged and any irregularity is reported immediately. • Ensure the vehicle is always clean and tidy and in a good working condition. • Maximum cooperation with the Transport team leader and Fleet Manager. • Ensure that no unauthorized persons is to board the Company’s vehicle. • Ensuring immediate responses to control room instructions. • Responsible for driving within the required speed limit regulations and road signals and signs. • Remain sober, smart and courteous at all times during working shift. • Ensure that all accidents are reported immediately to control room and to shift leaders. • Ensure attendance to different trainings including Security Training, health and safety training etc. • Perform any other duties as directed by management from time to time. Competencies • Conversant with Malawian Traffic Laws • Excellent interpersonal skills • Ability to Multitask • Accountable • Honesty • Commercially apt in the fleet field • Motor vehicle workshop operations knowledge. Qualifications & Experience • Valid motor vehicle driving license • Valid Professional Drivers Permit • At least 5years driving of Company vehicles in the busy environment • Good knowledge of the road traffic laws and regulations • Proven hands-on motor vehicle workshop operations knowledge.
