❗️ One of the negative consequences of Israel’s strikes on Iranian territory was a sharp increase in oil prices 👆 Volodymyr Zelenskyy explained how the escalation in the Middle East could threaten Ukraine. 🔹 If left unchecked, Russia will earn more money from oil sales. 🔹 The President emphasized the need for price caps — restrictions that set a maximum price. This would reduce risks, even though such bans can still be circumvented. Ukraine will coordinate with the U.S. on limiting the price of Russian oil and imposing sanctions on Russia’s energy sector. 🔹 Zelenskyy also warned there is a risk that support for Israel could reduce aid to Ukraine — as it did previously. 🔹 He added that Kyiv hopes Israel’s strikes on Iran’s defense facilities might disrupt supplies of Shahed drones and missiles to Russia.
