According to the agency, during the London negotiations, Beijing did not commit to allowing exports of rare earth elements that U.S. military suppliers need for fighter jets and missile systems. The Chinese side indicated that progress on lifting export controls on these elements is linked to U.S. restrictions on the export of advanced artificial intelligence chips to China, Reuters noted.
