*UPDATE*: Mohun Bagan signed Ashique Kuruniyan on a 3+2 year Deal from BFC. The +2 was a mutual agreement, where, if both the parties agreed, Ashique's contract was supposed to be renewed till 2027. However, after the Super Cup, Ashique was looking for a fresh long term deal with Mohun Bagan, but Mohun Bagan didn't want to commit a long term future. Hence, Ashique decided not to trigger the extension. Now, Ashique is moving to Bengaluru on a Free transfer. The player has signed a long-term deal with BFC.
