Key Account Manager-Nairobi
Our client is a global shipping and logistics company. They have retained our services to support hiring process for the position below-:
Key Responsibilities
Analyse and profile client accounts based on performance, value and potential and generate periodic reports.
Determine the crucial needs of key clients and ensure that they receive first-class customer care and service.
Develop a strategy for managing key accounts and ensure its implementation.
Conduct regular customer satisfaction surveys and make necessary improvements for key accounts.
Develop pricing structures for key clients.
Resolve disputes and maintain client relationships to promote client retention.
Conduct account reviews.
Analyse and adapt new strategies to react to changing business trends.
Conduct client visits based on target prospects.
Generate weekly sales reports and submit to management.
Key skills/Competencies/Experience/ Qualifications
Requirements
Degree in Marketing, Commerce, Economics or related field with good accounting knowledge.
5 years’ experience in Sales/ Business Development. Experience with shipping, supply chain, transport or warehousing industry is desirable.
Good communication & customer care skills.
Good negotiation & analytical skills.
Problem solver, ability to anticipate and solve work challenges.
