Sales Executive Location – Kampala / Mombasa
Age : 25 – 35 years
Overview:
The sales Executive will have a strong background in sales/business development , excellent interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the shipping industry. This role focuses on building and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the shipping and logistics sector.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Promote company services, including freight forwarding, container shipping, and logistics solutions.
Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
• Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.
• Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
Market Research and Analysis:
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitors, and potential clients.
• Provide regular feedback to management on market conditions and customer needs.
• Negotiations and Contract Management:
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to secure deals.
• Ensure all agreements comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Coordination and Reporting:
• Work closely with operations, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance to management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the shipping or logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of shipping operations, freight forwarding
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel.
