Overall, heavier rainfall is forecast to favor Trinidad, particularly eastern and southern areas of the island from daybreak through the early afternoon. As a result, river levels may increase again by Friday afternoon, with street and flash flooding likely in waterlogged areas. Riverine flooding may also be exacerbated. Landslides are possible in elevated areas, while gusty winds are likely to accompany heavy rainfall. By nightfall, conditions are forecast to settle across T&T into the weekend.
