As iron sharpens iron so one sharpens another Proverbs 27:17 As Christians, we are called to be in fellowship with one another. Proverbs 27:17 states that "Iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another ". This means that we are meant to help each other grow spiritually and emotionally. We are called to sharpen others. We can do this by being a listening ear,offering words of encouragement and praying for each other. It important to remember that we are not meant to go through this life alone. We need the support and accountability of others to help us stay on the right path. Let us strive to be intentional about building relationships with our fellow believers, for it is through these relationships that we can sharpen each other and ultimately bring glory to God. Dear God,thank you for placing people in our lives to help us grow and become more like you. Help us to be intentional about building relationships with our Christian friends and to always seek out opportunities to sharpen each other. Give us wisdom and discernment as we offer counsel and guidance to others. May we always point each other towards you and your will for our lives. In Jesus's mighty name I pray. Amen
