In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful His Highness the Amir al-Mu’minin (May Allah Almighty Protect Him) Attended and Delivered a Speech at a One-Day Seminar for the Heads of Jihadi Madrasas June 15, 2025 His Highness, the Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah Almighty protect him), attended and addressed a one-day educational and reform-oriented seminar convened in Kandahar for the teachers, administrators, and supervisors of Jihadi Madrasas. The acting Minister of Higher Education, the Director General of Jihadi Madrasas, along with a number of directors, scholars, administrators, and supervisors, participated in the event. The seminar commenced with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an. His Highness, the Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect him), delivered necessary guidance and an address to the attendees of the seminar. He acknowledged the contributions of all officials and offered key recommendations to the participants. His Highness emphasized that Allah Almighty has conferred upon scholars a distinguished rank, honor, and dignity among creation, appointing them as successors to the prophets in safeguarding the religion. He stated that scholars are not only tasked with the performance of individual acts of worship, but, following the prophets (peace be upon them), are also charged by Allah Almighty with fulfilling collective responsibilities and participating in political affairs. Scholars are required to address the social and political challenges of the Ummah, engage in Jihad, enforce the Sharia, adjudicate among the people, and resolve their disputes. His Highness, the Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah Almighty protect him), observed that throughout history, scholars, under highly challenging conditions, have preserved and defended the religion through sermons, legal opinions (fatwas), Jihad, education, preaching, and counsel. They have trained Mujahideen, encouraged the public toward Jihad, and have borne significant sacrifices in this cause. He praised the role of scholars in the implementation of the general amnesty decree. He also elaborated on the significance and value of knowledge, asserting that societal reform is achieved through knowledge, and that the establishment of Sharia is contingent upon the revival of Islamic sciences. Without the revival of religious sciences, the religion cannot be properly established among the people. At the conclusion of his address, His Highness, the Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah Almighty protect him), advised the instructors of Jihadi Madrasas to intensify their efforts in educating and nurturing students, shaping their beliefs, thoughts, and intellects. He instructed them to give careful attention to both the external and internal development of students, educate them regarding the rights of parents, teachers, and others, foster collaboration with other institutions, and uphold mutual trust. He warned that the erosion of trust leads to disobedience, and disobedience results in division. The seminar concluded with a supplication (dua) from His Highness, the Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah Almighty protect him) for the nation and for governance based on Sharia law.
